President's Message

The United States military is admired around the world, not only for its strength, but for the values that give that strength its meaning: respect, integrity, loyalty, duty, selfless service, honor, and personal courage.

These are the values we teach at Riverside. They are practiced every day in the classroom, on the parade field, and in the quiet moments when no one is watching. Respect, above all, is where leadership begins: respect for others, for the chain of command, for one's country, and for oneself.

Today, Riverside is entering a new chapter. Our vision is long term and deliberate: to become a global leader in military education, drawing on the lessons of our history and the proven traditions of American military leadership to prepare cadets for a world that is more connected and more demanding than ever before.

Young men from across the United States and around the globe now come to Riverside to learn these values and this discipline. They stand side by side in our Corps, discovering that leadership has no borders and that honor is a universal language. We select them not only for what they have achieved, but for who they are becoming.

Our ambition does not stop at our gates. In the years ahead, we aspire to carry the Riverside Military model beyond Georgia, with future campuses and partnerships around the world, so that more young people can benefit from the education and character that define this Academy.

Hope is not a strategy, but it is where every great strategy begins. I believe deeply in the future of this Academy and in the young men entrusted to us. Together with our faculty, military, staff, trustees, alumni, and families, we are building a Riverside worthy of its past and ready for the century ahead.
